Regular readers will recall, I spoke at Content Marketing Institute’s Intelligent Content Conference earlier this year. My topic was content strategy for the untethered world — essentially, how brands should make their content ready for a future in which the number of interfaces by which that content will be consumed grows nearly infinite. At the future-forward end of my presentation, I spoke about technologies like virtual reality headsets and viewers, Microsoft’s HoloLens augmented reality wearable, smart home appliances, and even “product as content”. Near-in though, I discussed the sad truth that even in 2016 at least some brands still struggle to provide their audiences with useful, usable, relevant content experiences on mobile phones.
Content Marketing Institute has just posted video of seven-or-so minutes of the “is your content mobile-friendly” portion of my Intelligent Content Conference Talk.
For more on my ICC talk, see my earlier post in which I shared a high level summary and a few of the frameworks I presented.
